"Going down?" Brooke frowned at Amber. "What ever are you talking about?"
"Only time will tell, and I will bide mine until just the perfect moment and I'll savor it Brooke." Amber pronounced.
"I don't have time for you." Brooke said to her. "My daughter is all that matters to me right now."
"Yeah right." Amber said sarcastically. "I've got you Brooke. You'll never know when it's going to happen but it will."
"I have no idea what you are referring to and I don't care what you are referring to, now if you will excuse me." Brooke turned from Amber and walked away.
"You'll be sorry Brooke, you'll be very sorry." Amber said to herself. She turned and smiled at Rick as he came and put his arm around her.
"That was nice to see." He told her.
"What?" She asked.
"You and Mom getting along. Thanks Amber, thanks for doing that for me." He kissed her on the cheek and smiled. Amber turned away and a look of disgust came over her face. She made sure that no one saw her. She turned back to Rick and smiled sweetly.
"I just want to make you happy Rick, bring your family together."
Brooke sat down alone in the corner of the room and picked at a piece of pizza on a plate. She watched everyone else talking to someone, comforting someone. Never in her life had she felt so alone, so unwanted and unneeded. She sighed and put down the plate, she rubbed her eyes and massaged her temples. She was shocked when strong hands covered hers and took over the job. She turned around and smiled at the man who was administering to her headache so lovingly.
"You're the last person in the world I'd expect that from." She told him.
Thorne Forrester smiled back and laughed. "You looked like you needed it. Why did you put yourself in a corner like this Brooke?"
"Sometimes I think it's where your whole family thinks I belong." She looked into his eyes. He looked well, he looked happy. "How are you Thorne?" She asked him.
"I'm good Brooke. Better than you I think. You look terrible."
"Thanks." She said with a sigh.
"No, I didn't exactly mean that. You look beautiful as usual, but tired, worn out."
"I am Thorne, and I'm so worried about Bridget. She won't come home." Brooke said as tears filled her eyes. "I want my baby to come home with me."
"I know Brooke." He said. He pulled a chair over and sat next to her. He took her hand in his and held it. "She needs time, she needs time alone to accept what happened. You of all people should understand that."
"She gets it from me doesn't she." Brooke sobbed softly. "I never learned, I kept hoping and praying and trying to have someone who was never mine. But at least she didn't hurt someone else in the process." She said looking into his eyes. "Can you ever forgive me?"
"I did a long time ago Brooke, we both went into it with our eyes closed. I didn't want to see you still loved him and you wouldn't see it. Deep down I think we both knew."
"I did love you." She told him.
"In your own way Brooke, I know you did."
"Did he ever love me?" She asked him as she looked at Ridge holding Taylor in his arms. They looked so happy and so in love.
"Yes Brooke, he loved you very much. But the timing was never right for you. I hope you realize it's over now, I hope you're going to move on yourself."
"Move on." She said sadly. "How can I move on from something I never had. Oh Thorne, I've made such a mess out of everything."
"I don't like to hear you talk like this Brooke, I'm worried about you okay?"
"I appreciate that Thorne but I'll be fine. How about you? What have you been up to lately?" She asked as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Working hard. And dating a little." He said with a smile.
"Good for you. Don't ever settle for anything less that real love Thorne."
"I never have Brooke." He said. He put his arm around her again and pulled her close. "I never have." He repeated.
"Look." Bridget said to Eric. "Mom and Thorne, do you think maybe they're working things out?"
Eric looked at his former wife and his son. "I don't know honey. It was very hard on him. He loved her a lot."
"She loved him too." Bridget said. "It gives me hope." She smiled. "If Thorne and Mom can work things out I know Deacon and I can too. He will come home to me."
"Budge." Ridge said as he sat down on her other side. "I talked to your mother today. She and Thorne are not getting back together. I think he's just comforting her. She's really worried about you you know."
"I know." She said. "But I'll be fine. Deacon will come home."
"I don't want you staying here alone Bridget." Ridge insisted.
"I won't be, you'll see."
"Dad talk to her." Ridge implored his father. "Everything I say to her goes in one ear and out the other."
"Ridge is right honey. I don't want you alone. Either come home with me or go home with your mother." Eric told her.
"Or she can stay with us." Ridge added.
"I live here now." Bridget said. "And this is where Deacon will come looking for me."
"He's not coming back Bridget." Ridge insisted. "He's not good enough for you Bridget. He's a bum and you're so much better off without him. I know it hurts now but soon you'll meet a nice young man and you'll wonder what you ever saw in Deacon Sharpe."
"How can you say that?" Bridget shouted. She stood up and looked at her family. "How can any of you say this? He's my husband and I love him and he's coming back! He's not a bum and I'll never forget him! Never!"
"My baby." Brooke said as she clutched Thorne's hand. "How I wish I could help her."
"Maybe you can Brooke, maybe she needs sympathy now and not judgment. Let her know you understand how much she loves him. Maybe you should support them. Maybe she's right, maybe he does love her." Thorne suggested.
"No!" Brooke was horrified. "No, he doesn't love her. It's over Thorne, it has to be over."
Little by little the family left. Ridge and Taylor couldn't convince Bridget to come with them so they took their children home. Rick and Amber needed to get home to little Eric. Thorne had a prior commitment. Brooke and Eric sat quietly with their daughter. Neither wanted to leave her but she wouldn't budge her resolve to wait for Deacon. Eventually Eric left and Brooke started to clean up. She was in the kitchen drying glasses when Bridget came in.
"You don't have to do that Mom."
"I needed to keep busy." She said.
"You seem almost as upset about this as I am." Bridget said as she grabbed a towel and started to help Brooke.
"I am, but not for the same reasons. I really wanted you to come home. You have a chance to get your life back honey, to be a girl again."
"Oh Mom." Bridget said with a hug. "I can't go back to being your little girl. I'm a woman now. And I have a husband who is going to come to his senses and come home to me."
"Baby I wouldn't count on that." Brooke said in a desperate attempt to convince her.
"I know you all hate him, but you don't know him. Deacon really is a wonderful man. He loves me, he really does. I wish you all would stop trying to drive him away."
Brooke held Bridget by the shoulders and turned her towards her. "I know he loves you, how could he not love you. But Bridget, he is not in love with you and that is why it will never work. Believe me honey, I know. I've been there."
"Deacon isn't Ridge Mom, there isn't another woman. I know you're hurting but don't compare my marriage to your failed love affair. If you were smart you'd try and work it out with Thorne, I saw you two tonight and I think he still loves you Mom. You could make it work."
"I'm not in love with Thorne." Brooke told her.
"And Ridge is not in love with you." Bridget replied.
Alex grabbed Deacon's arm to stop him as he was walking out of The Lair. He had a backpack on and he carried a small suitcase. "Where are you going? You promised you'd stay until they got a replacement."
"I can't Alex. It's too hard. I have to get the hell out of Dodge. Besides, they have a replacement."
"Who? No one introduced me. Deacon I need to know who I'm working for." She complained.
He looked at her and smiled. "Alex, meet Alex, your new boss." He said with a laugh.
"Me?" She asked.
"Why not? You practically run the place already. I called the owner and he agreed. You'll be hearing from him tomorrow. I made him promise me to give you a big raise. Plus you can have the apartment rent free if you want it."
"I'd rather you stayed." She said.
"Liar." He said with a laugh. "Alex, you'll be wonderful. I have no doubts at all."
"Where will you go?" She asked him. "Will you keep in touch?"
"Before I came here I was pretty much a drifter. Maybe that's the best life for me. Deacon Sharpe was not made for love and marriage."
"You really love her don't you?" Alex asked in amazement.
Deacon closed his eyes in deep thought. "Yeah, I love her." He said. "But she'll never know Alex. And it's better that way." Again he closed his eyes. His mind, like a movie played back their times together, the loving, the laughter, the tears and her beautiful face. He loved her like he had never loved before. He had to leave town or he would never be able to leave her. Brooke Logan had gotten under his skin and he had to find a way to get her out. He shook his head to disburse the memories. "Good luck Alex, maybe someday I'll drop you a line." He gave her a quick hug and kiss and walked out of the place that had been the catalyst of so much change in his life.
As each day had gone by Brooke had found herself in a deeper funk than the one before. She refused to acknowledge even to herself that it had anything to do with Deacon. She tried to convince herself she was still heartbroken over Ridge yet when she saw him the familiar aching was gone. She spent as much time as possible with Bridget who surprisingly had come to accept that it really was over with Deacon. She had signed the paperwork that Jonathan had given her and faster than she thought possible the annulment had been finalized. She still refused to come home and that upset Brooke. Bridget wanted her independence. She was going to her classes and seeing her girlfriends. She was depressed but with the love of her friends and family she was doing better than any of them had ever expected.
Brooke had begun to accept that her life would be empty and lonely. She at first had let her appearance go but when Megan had made a comment she made the effort to correct that. She had her hair cut and went to a spa and rejoined her gym. On the outside Brooke Logan was a beautiful, happy, successful woman but on the inside she was a lonely and sad woman. Her entire life revolved around her work. Even Bridget didn't seem to need her anymore. She had gotten over her failed marriage, with the help of Taylor and Stephanie and she was even dating again. It was nothing serious but Brooke was glad to see her daughter being a teen again, having fun and doing things with her friends. Brooke again had begged her to come home but she declined. Brooke was worried about Bridget being lonely in the home she had shared with Deacon but one day Bridget and Taylor had come to her to tell her that Betsy was going to move in with her. Now Bridget had a roommate and a new life and Brooke felt more useless than ever.
It had been three months since the day Bridget's marriage had ended when Ridge came bursting into Brooke's office with a huge grin on his face.
"We did it Logan! We did it!" He announced.
"Did what?" Brooke asked as she looked up from her journal. She wasn't happy with the latest sales figures and she had been planning to meet with Eric and Ridge about them.
"The deal, it's locked. It's all settled. We're going to be part of the Lingerie Show. We're partnered with Victoria's Secret Logan, Brooke's Bedroom is going to become a household name worldwide. You and I have to be in Vegas this weekend to meet with the buyers and the convention people. This is big Brooke, really big."
"Does Eric approve?" She asked him.
"He thinks we should stay separate but he's wrong. Victoria's Secret is the ultimate name in intimate apparel and we're going to be right there next to them. Why by this time next year they'll be begging us to let them join our show." He said with a grin.
"It's all so sudden." She said.
"Sudden? I've been working on this for months. Logan it's time you got your head out of the clouds and back to reality. What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing Ridge, nothing at all." She sighed and pushed back a strand of hair. "Maybe you and Eric should go. You can bring Taylor and Stephanie and make it a little vacation. It will be good for you."
"Are you crazy? This is your baby and you have to be there. If it wasn't for your appeal I doubt they'd ever have agreed. Why are you acting this way? Logan you aren't still upset with me are you?"
"No Ridge." She said as she looked up at him.
"Because I really don't want that. I hoped we were friends again."
"We are, I just have some of my own issues on my mind. It has nothing to do with you at all."
"So we're alright?" He asked.
"We're fine Ridge, just fine."
"Are you seeing anyone Logan?" He asked.
"Why?" She asked as she squinted her eyes at him.
"Because I want you to be happy. I hate to see you alone Brooke. I feel partly to blame. I know I let things go to far with you. I was wrong." He confessed.
"That's long since forgotten. I was the one who was really wrong so let's just forget it and concentrate on work." She handed him the journal. "Look at these numbers. They're terrible Ridge and they're getting worse and worse."
"That's why we need this Brooke. This show is going to change everything. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about."
"Alright, we'll do it. But I really think you and Eric would be the best to take over."
"It's you or no one Logan." He insisted.
"When do we leave?" She asked with a sigh.
Brooke went home that night and packed. The Forrester jet would take them to Vegas the next day. She had told Ridge to bring Taylor but he explained she had prior commitments. She didn't like the idea of traveling alone with him. The talk had finally started to die down and she had no desire to have it rear it's ugly head again. She even called Taylor herself and was totally shocked that she supported the trip completely. Brooke was glad that she bore no grudges against her. To be totally honest she barely even thought about Ridge anymore. Her thoughts seemed to revolve aroundno! She stopped herself from even registering the notion. That's over too. It was wrong and it was over. She threw some hose into the suitcase. She made it a point to only pack the sexiest of the Brooke's Bedroom line things that she owned. Not that anyone would see them but to truly promote the line she had to believe in it 150% and that meant wearing it too. She smiled to herself as she held up a pretty pink pushup bra. It was one of her favorites. She remembered the last time she had worn it. He had..no! Stop it Brooke. She told herself. She slammed the drawer closed and walked to her balcony. She looked down at the garden. This house was too big to live in alone, too big and too many memories. She made an instant decision that when she returned home she would put the house on the market. She'd look into a nice townhouse. Something smaller and more intimate. With one more look at the garden she knew she had made the right decision. She and Ridge had shared so many happy times here, she and Thorne had been married in that garden and then there was that night, that first night. She felt a longing between her legs as she remembered how Deacon had stood there and stared up at her, how he had come to her bedroom and they had made love. She had never had such an instant attraction to a man before. She wondered where he was, what he was doing, if he had a new woman in his life. She was filled with jealousy at the thought and she hated herself for it. Deacon Sharpe was not hers, he had never been hers and he never would be hers and yet her loins ached to be filled by him again. "Oh Deacon." She whispered. "If only."
The excitement of Las Vegas always seemed to invigorate Brooke and this time, luckily was no different. From the moment that the limo had picked them up at the airport to the second that they checked into the hotel Brooke was smiling. She finally had something to look forward to. She and Ridge each had large suites in the impressive Bellagio Hotel. Brooke settled in and unpacked while Ridge met with one of the reps from Victoria's Secret. There were no meetings until the morning and Ridge had asked Brooke to meet him for dinner but she had declined. She was determined not to let the past upset her future and she was still susceptible to Ridge's charms. She ordered a meal through room service, poached flounder, a baked potato and steamed vegetables. Her only splurge was a glass of white wine and a small dish of vanilla ice cream for dessert. After she had her meal she took a long bubble bath and put on a soft terry robe that was supplied by the hotel. Restless, she decided to have a go at the casino. She called Ridge's room, hoping not to go down alone but there was no answer. She went to her closet and decided on a strapless black dress. She smoothed lotion on her skin, redid her makeup and then dressed. She put on a solitaire diamond necklace and matching earrings grabbed her purse and headed downstairs.
The sounds of the hustle and bustle of the casino brought a smile to Brooke's face. She changed a fifty-dollar bill for silver dollar coins and walked through the many loud and brightly-lit slot machines. Finally settling on one she inserted three coins. None of the lines matched up so she repeated it. This time six coins were returned. She scooped them up and walked around some more.
Brooke was enjoying the sport of people watching. But a sense of sadness overtook her as she saw couple after couple of happy people laughing, talking, kissing, winning and losing but no matter what they were together and many of them were in love. Suddenly her adventure didn't seem like such a good idea after all. She walked aimlessly though the machines, past the poker tables and the crap tables and eventually came to the roulette wheel. She switched her dollars to chips and decided to play. Luck was on her side and Brooke was running up quite a pile of winnings as well as a large crowd around her. A handsome man in a tuxedo came and stood next to her. She smiled at him and he at her. She continued to win as he whispered his own gambling advice to her.
"Hey beautiful, want to rub some of that luck onto me?"
"Oh you wouldn't want my luck." She told him with a smile.
"I'm Robert Becker." He said extending his hand to her.
"Brooke, Brooke Logan." She smiled.
"Well Brooke Logan, can I buy you a drink?"
"I think the hotel is supplying them thank you." She answered with a lilting laugh. "That's it." She said collecting her chips. "Thank you gentlemen." She said as she walked away from the table. She started to search for the place to cash them in when she noticed Mr. Becker was behind her.
"Come on Brooke, join me won't you?"
"I'm sorry but I have an early meeting. I'm going to head up to bed." She said.
"Better still." He said taking her arm. "I like a sexy blonde in my bed."
"Please take you hand off of me Mr. Becker, I'm not in the mood for your childish behavior."
"You owe me lady. I helped you clean up over there. Come on, a quick roll in the hay. I promise, you'll never regret it." He grabbed her arm even tighter and started to lead her towards the elevators.
"I said let go!" Brooke said in a stern voice. Suddenly she was scared. This man was strong and intoxicated and no one in the casino seemed to be paying them the slightest bit of attention.
He pushed her against a dark and broken slot machine and his mouth covered hers. She struggled to free herself from him as his hand slid up her dress and inside her panties.
"Stop it!" She screamed but he put his hand over her mouth silencing her. She was petrified. She was going to be raped in front of thousands of people and no one was going to do anything about it. Suddenly she was freed from his grip.
"The lady said to stop it. Now you get the f*ck out of here before I kill you." The familiar voice said and Brooke found herself looking up into the eyes of Deacon Sharpe. He pulled her into his arms and she held onto him as she started to sob.
"Deacon, oh God Deacon, thank God you were here."
"It's alright now Brooke, nothing is going to happen to you." He lifted her chin up till she faced him. His smile was intoxicating and she found her mouth reaching up to his. Their tongues met in a dance and his arms supported her as she rested against him.
"I thought I'd never see you again." She whispered as she caught her breath. "How did you find me?"
He kissed her once more and then smiled again. "I saw you at the table but I didn't want to bother you. I watched that slime ball follow you and I knew there was going to be trouble. I'm sorry I didn't get there fast enough but I lost you in the crowd. I could have killed him."
"Oh Deacon." She moaned and she sought out his lips again. Suddenly they were the only two people in the room and Brooke felt the desire building up inside her. "Why are you here?" She whispered.
"I work here, but it's my night off. I just came in by chance."
"Wonderful, wonderful chance." She said. "Deacon." She murmured.
"Nothing's changed Brooke." He told her.
"No nothing at all." She said as her hand gently touched his arousal.
"There's no future." He said.
"No, none." She whispered, not taking her eyes from his.
"Brooke I've never stopped wanting you."
"Then take me." She said. She reached into her purse and handed him her hotel room key.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"No." She admitted. She took his hand and pulled him towards the elevator.
They got in and were alone and they were soon clawing at each other's clothes, touching and kissing. Deacon slid her panties off her and one touch melted her.
"What if?" She started.
He smiled and took out a key and slipped it into the security slot of the elevator's controls. It took an abrupt stop but no alarms went off. Brooke giggled and jumped into his arms, tugging at his fly, freeing him and taking him into her hand.
"Hurry, I need you." She told him. Deacon lifted her up and onto his jutting manhood. She moaned in pleasure as he pushed her against the padded walls of the elevator and pumped hard into her. He lowered the top of her dress exposing her breasts and moved his mouth to one erect nipple and then the other. She was screaming in ecstasy as her body tightened around him. She moaned as a quick and strong orgasm built in her body.
"That's it Brooke, that's it." He encouraged her as she gave into her body's pleasures and he followed soon afterwards spilling his seed inside her.
"I don't know Dad." Ridge said into the phone. "She didn't want to have dinner with me, she told me she'd call for room service but when I came back she had left a message for me that she was going to the casino. Yeah, yeah I know she may have gone to another hotel but it's not like her. No, I'm sure she's fine, I just hated leaving her all alone." Ridge took a sip of his brandy and looked at his reflection in the mirror. He knew he looked good and he wished he had Taylor here at his side. They would have set the town on fire. He had been propositioned by two beautiful women that evening and he knew he still had it, not that he had any desire to be with anyone besides his beautiful wife. Suddenly he was brought back to the present with his father's voice. "Sorry Dad, my mind wandered. Yes, I spoke to Taylor earlier. She agrees with me too. I hope Brooke will try and have some fun. She's been pretty much to herself since this whole Bridget and Deacon thing. Yeah, okay, I promise I'll try and find her. Okay Dad, I'll talk to you after the meeting tomorrow and say goodnight to Mom for me."
Brooke rolled over and onto Deacon again. She stroked his chest and teased his nipples with her teeth.
"Again?" He laughed.
"Again." She said.
"Oh Brooke, I can't seem to get enough of you."
"Shhhh, no talking, just f*ck me." She said as she got on top of him. She laughed as she sat on his waist and started to play with him and stroke him.
"You like to tease don't you?" He said to her.
"I love my toy." She said. "But I want it here." She grinned as she positioned herself over him. Slowly and torturously she took him into her body, letting him in and then lifting off over and over until he pulled her down and he was deep inside her. She rode his as his hands held onto her ample breasts, kissing and biting as she lowered herself to him. Brooke was giggling and moaning and smiling like a cat with a saucer of cream. For the first time in months she was happy and she was complete. She wouldn't think about the future, only the now, only the pleasure and only joy she felt after such a long drought.
Hours later Brooke slept, snuggled tightly in his arms. Deacon opened his eyes and looked at the glorious woman he was holding. "How can I ever let you go now Brooke?" He whispered to the sleeping woman. "I can't, I can't."
The sound of the phone woke Brooke and she opened her eyes. She was alone in the king sized bed and she wondered momentarily if it had all been a dream, but the aching between her legs told her it had been real. Tears filled her eyes when she realized Deacon was gone. He was gone and she had no idea how to find him. She reached for the phone.
"Hello?" She whispered.
"Logan, good morning." Ridge said cheerfully. "I made breakfast reservations. Can you be down in an hour?"
"Sure." She said.
"Sorry I missed you last night? Did you win?" He asked.
"Win?" She wondered.
"You went to the casino didn't you?"
"Oh yes, I did. Yeah I won a bit." She smiled. She looked towards the window and noticed the single pink rose and the note on the pillow next to her. She grabbed it and sniffed the fragrant bloom.
"Logan?" Ridge's voice brought her back to reality.
"Sorry." She said. "I was, um thinking about what to wear. What did you ask?"
"I just wondered if you wanted me to order to speed things up." He said.
"Whatever." She said, dying to read the note.
"You seem distracted Logan, will you be alright for the meeting?" He asked with concern.
"I'll be fine." She said. "I'll see you in an hour." She ended the conversation by hanging up on him. She looked at the words on the paper. It was short and to the point.
Brooke,
You were magnificent. If you want to see me again I'll be by the same roulette table tonight at 10.
Hopefully,
Deacon
"Oh yes Deacon, I want to see you." Brooke said as she held the rose to her breasts.
Deacon walked into the security offices of the Hotel Bellagio and sat down at a monitor. He reached for the phone and punched in a number.
"Did you get him?" He asked. "He claimed his name was Robert Becker but no one is registered here or anywhere on the strip under that name. Okay, keep me informed." He said hanging up.
A burly man in jeans and a Hard Rock Café tee shirt walked in and up to Deacon. He smiled and handed him a videotape.
"Happy Birthday Sharpe." He told him.
"It's not my birthday Ed." He said confused.
"Consider it an early gift then." Ed laughed. "Sharpe are you a complete idiot? You work here, you know how we operate."
"Get to the point." Deacon said as he lit a cigarette.
"I gotta say, this broad was classier than any I've ever seen you with, but she sure wanted a piece of you. Man you know we film inside the elevators."
"Brooke!" Deacon said as he stared at the tape in his hand. "Who saw this?" He asked angrily.
"Me, Phil. Lonnie and Roxanne. I gotta tell you Deac, if you want into Roxie's panties after that performance I say you're in like Flint."
"Shit, I wasn't thinking." Deacon said. He took a drag of his cigarette and started to laugh. "Thanks Ed, I owe you one."
"You gonna see her again?" Ed asked.
"I sure hope so." Deacon admitted. "But you're right about one thing Ed, that lady is way outta my league."
"Yeah but she was one horny lady." Ed laughed.
Deacon was mad but he knew Ed had done them both a huge favor. He knew that other adventures caught on tape here had made it to the porno trade and if that had ever happened he could kiss Brooke goodbye forever. And after last night that was no longer an option for him.
Ridge was sipping steaming hot coffee when Brooke sat down and joined him at the table. If he didn't know better he would have sworn this woman was an impostor. She had the same face and hair and she looked beautiful in her maroon suit but the smile on her face was one he hadn't seen since, well since so long he couldn't remember. He stood up as she sat. "Brooke, you look lovely."
"Thank you Ridge. You look pretty good yourself."
"You must have had a great nights sleep." He commented.
"Yes." She said without elaborating. She picked up the menu and studied it. "Did you order?" She asked.
"I didn't get a chance." He told her. "But don't worry, I know you only wanted a fruit cup and dry toast."
The waitress then appeared. "Are you ready?" She asked.
"Yes and I'm famished." Brooke said. "I'll have two eggs over easy, a rasher of bacon, home fries, wheat toast and a large orange juice."
"Logan? Have the pod people invaded your body?" Ridge teased but he was genuinely shocked.
"No, I told you I was hungry." She turned to the waitress. "And coffee please."
"You amaze me." He laughed. "I'll have the buttermilk pancakes and sausage and more coffee too please."
The waitress thanked them and walked away.
"So are you ready?" Brooke asked.
"I can see you sure are. Logan whatever drugs you're on, keep taking them. With you in this mode we are sure to take over this meeting completely."
"Oh I think I'll keep on the same regiment Ridge." She smiled as she thought of Deacon. She picked up her water glass and held it out to him. "To Forrester, may we have the best year ever. And to love and happiness, may we both find them in abundance."
Ridge clinked glasses with her and smiled. "And to Brooke Logan, may you always be as happy as you are today."
"I'll drink to that." She said with a smile.
